The Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator will serve as a central point of contact between truckers, brokers, and internal teams, ensuring that freight movements are coordinated efficiently from start to finish. This role involves daily communication with drivers and partners through multiple channels, alongside active monitoring of dispatch dashboards to identify and act on load opportunities. The coordinator will also maintain accurate records across internal systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of dispatch workflows.

What you'll do
Reach out to truckers through cold and warm calls, and manage inbound and outbound communications via phone, SMS, and email.
Explain the dispatch service to truckers and brokers, and conduct repetitive follow-ups to confirm arrangements and resolve issues.
Monitor internal dashboards to identify freight and load opportunities as they become available throughout the day.
Coordinate with truckers and match incoming loads to available drivers based on location, lane preference, and capacity.
Contact brokers to negotiate rates on behalf of truckers, ensuring competitive and fair pricing for all parties.
Schedule pickups and deliveries with precise time windows, verifying accuracy before confirming with drivers and brokers.
Track driver availability, current location, and preferred lanes to optimize dispatch decisions across multiple drivers simultaneously.
Maintain and update the internal CRM and tracking systems with current driver statuses, load details, and communication logs.
Operate internal AI and copilot dispatch tools, using their outputs to inform decisions while keeping human judgment in the loop.
Use general automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, while ensuring that human oversight remains in place for all critical actions.
Keep all communication records current and organized, including call notes, email threads, and SMS exchanges with partners.
Support the team during peak periods by managing high volumes of dispatch activity without sacrificing accuracy or response time.
Requirements
Native or strong-level fluency in English, both written and spoken, for clear professional communication.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under time-sensitive operational pressure.
Comfortable with technology and quick to adapt to new tools, platforms, and evolving workflows.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interpret subtle cues during conversations.
Must have a USB headset with noise cancellation for clear and reliable call quality.
Must have a working webcam for video-based meetings and coordination sessions.
Computer must have at least a 1.8 GHz processor and a minimum of 4GB RAM to run dispatch tools smoothly.
Main internet connection must be a cable service with a speed of at least 25 Mbps.
Must have a backup internet service with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps to ensure continuity during outages.
Nice to have
Prior experience in logistics, dispatch, freight coordination, or a related transportation operations role.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and internal tracking systems used in supply chain or trucking environments.
Experience using automation tools or scripting to reduce manual repetitive tasks in a work setting.
Understanding of basic negotiation techniques for rate discussions with brokers and service providers.

Practical notes

The role is full-time with a salary package of up to ₱48,000 per month.
