What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the research, development, and implementation of new product designs.
• Innovate and explore new methodologies to advance 3D printing technology.
• Work closely with design engineers to transition concepts into functional prototypes.
• Conduct hands-on testing and analysis to validate product designs and performance.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanism and mechatronic product design.
• Proven track record in contributing to the system architecture of complex products.
• Experience in cross-disciplinary hardware prototyping, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
• Proficiency in working with sensors and actuators, demonstrating a solid understanding of control systems.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making processes.
• Familiarity with the material properties of various plastics, metals, and adhesives.
• Hands-on testing experience, complemented by some knowledge of simulation techniques.
• Understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes and their implications for product design.
• Experience with statistical tolerance analysis techniques for precision engineering.

• The role offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $190,000 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
