About the role
In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting our fulfillment leadership team by spearheading strategic initiatives aimed at scaling and optimizing our global operations. You will be responsible for translating high-level strategic goals into detailed, actionable plans that enhance our supply chain, logistics, and fulfillment capabilities. Your work will involve managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers worldwide. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead change in a fast-growing environment.

What you'll do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive, long-term roadmap for global fulfillment and logistics operations, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives and profitability targets.
- Lead and manage major operational transitions, including the migration to third-party logistics providers, the launch of new warehouses, and the integration of advanced fulfillment technologies to improve throughput and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Development, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure supply chain readiness for new product introductions (NPI), facilitating smooth and timely global product launches.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the Order-to-Delivery process and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce lead times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Product teams to develop detailed scenario models for market expansion, carrier negotiations, inventory management, and capacity planning, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Enhance the company's global delivery strategy by working on initiatives to improve Estimated Delivery Dates accuracy, reduce shipping costs, and increase overall delivery reliability through innovative process improvements.
- Standardize regional fulfillment requirements into a cohesive, scalable global operating model that maintains efficiency, compliance, and data integrity as the organization expands.
- Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing global operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and strategic thinking.
- Drive cross-functional projects aimed at integrating new technologies, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, to streamline operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain efficiency, providing regular reports and insights to executive leadership.
- Lead efforts to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including ITAR, and manage risks associated with global supply chain operations.
- Support the development of scalable processes that can adapt to future growth, including capacity planning and resource allocation strategies.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related technical field is required; a Master's degree such as an MBA or MS is highly preferred.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in operations strategy, logistics, or supply chain management, with a proven track record managing complex, global projects in dynamic environments.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate uncertainty and develop clear, actionable plans that align with business goals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing both executive leadership and operational teams at all levels.
- Experience acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing analytical support, project management expertise, and driving transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience mentoring teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on building scalable, efficient operations that support rapid growth and high customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of global supply chain dynamics, logistics, and fulfillment processes, including familiarity with industry best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships, including negotiations with logistics providers and technology vendors.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or APICS CSCP.
- Extensive experience with global ERP systems and warehouse management systems (WMS), as well as e-commerce platforms like Shopify Plus.
- Background in management consulting or senior operations roles within a global organization, with a focus on supply chain transformation.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements such as ITAR and other international trade regulations.
- Experience working in high-growth technology or manufacturing companies, particularly in fast-paced, innovative environments.
