What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements
- Proven experience in leading and building high-performing mechanical engineering teams, preferably within the 3D printing or digital fabrication industry.
- Extensive background in designing complex mechanical systems, with a strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle considerations.
- Demonstrated success in launching multiple products from concept through production, with a focus on quality and reliability.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to make informed decisions independently, especially in ambiguous or fast-paced environments.
- Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturability, cost reduction strategies, and sustainability principles.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical design and manufacturing.

Full-time employees at Form Labs receive a competitive annual base salary ranging from $160,000 to $280,000, depending on experience and skills.
