Form Labs is seeking a dedicated Finance and Operations Analyst to join our team in Millbury, Ohio. What you'll do

• Manage accounts payable processes by accurately processing vendor invoices, credit notes, and employee reimbursement claims, ensuring timely and correct payments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to record and maintain daily manufacturing data, ensuring that all information entered into the ERP system is precise and up-to-date.
• Conduct regular audits of daily logs and production records to identify discrepancies, missing data, or errors, and take corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
• Support the upkeep of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and item costs within the ERP system, reviewing planned versus actual data, and investigating any inconsistencies or variances.
• Assist with periodic inventory audits by coordinating stock counts, reconciling inventory records, and investigating variances to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting, inventory management, and production workflows, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Generate detailed variance reports and other financial analyses to aid management in making informed decisions, providing insights based on accurate and timely data.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and accounts payable, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and audit findings, contributing to continuous improvement efforts and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist in the integration of new software tools or updates to existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and minimal disruption to daily operations.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies, industry best practices, and new technology implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Between 2 and 4 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in roles involving accounts payable, inventory management, cost accounting, or data analysis.
• Proven experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Hyperion HFM, or QAD, with a good understanding of how these systems support manufacturing and financial processes.
• Familiarity with procurement and expense management tools like Concur or Coupa, and ability to navigate and utilize these platforms effectively.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, Bills of Materials, and cost structures within a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to use functions like XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables for complex data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions independently.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing and inventory management.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment where resolving transactional discrepancies quickly is essential.
• An interest in understanding how different software applications integrate and exchange data to improve operational workflows.
• Prior exposure to manufacturing or production environments, with an understanding of production cycles and inventory flows.
