ERP Data Migration Developer at Flynn Flynn is seeking an ERP Data Migration Developer to join the ERP project team at our Mississauga office and support a major enterprise ERP implementation. Reporting to the ERP Data Migration Lead, this newly created role will work closely with business stakeholders, ERP functional teams, and Project Managers to support data conversions. This position focuses on converting data from legacy systems into the target ERP solution by extracting, cleansing, transforming, validating, and loading master, reference, and transactional data. Translate conversion requirements into reliable mapping, transformation rules, and data load solutions. Collaborate with various Business SME / Data Champions to document data conversion business rules. Develop and support repeatable ERP data conversion processes for extraction, transformation, validation, and loading. Build and optimize transformations, procedures, pipelines, reports, and validation routines. Support master, reference, and transactional data conversion across ERP's and connected systems. Develop load files and support diverse load patterns including scheduled transfers, API interactions, and middleware exchanges. Prepare and validate load files across mock and implementation of conversion cycles. Support mock conversions, migration testing, cutover rehearsals, go-live readiness, and stabilization. Monitor exceptions, resolve load errors, and support data clean-up with business SMEs. Perform profiling, reconciliation, duplication checks, validation, and cross-referencing for accurate migration. Support data quality metrics, issue tracking, trend monitoring, and remediation follow-up. Document designs, mappings, transformation logic, validation rules, procedures, and standards. Support large scale, multi-entity ERP implementation spanning across North America. What we are Seeking: Experience 7+ years in ERP data conversion, Data ETL and Integration or related BI / Data Warehouse technical role. 5+ years large scale ERP experience with leading solutions such as Dynamics SL, IFS Global, INFOR, and Dynamics 365. Strong SQL skills with SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases. Hands-on experience with ETL tools, pipelines, batch loads, and near-real-time data movement. Experience reconciling, validating, profiling, cleansing, and troubleshooting data. Experience working with the construction and/or building industries is desired. Knowledge of ERP data domains such as finance, procurement, inventory, projects, service, or manufacturing would be an asset. Ability to work with business SMEs, ERP teams, data teams, application teams, and technical stakeholders. Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Hands on experience in Microsoft Cloud technologies - Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Data Pipelines, Azure Dev Ops, Purview. Familiarity with CI/CD, GitHub, version control, and automated testing for data workflows. Experience with Python, APIs, cloud data platforms, or integration of middleware such as Boomi and Workato. Proficiency on data visualization tools is an asset (e.g. Power BI, QlikView, etc.) Solid knowledge of medallion architecture and data governance, data analysis and data catalog tools (e.g. Ataccama, Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Oracle eDQ, Qlik Talend etc.) Proficiency in database management systems (e.g. SQL DB, Oracle DB etc.). Data governance certifications (CDGP, CDMP) would be an asset. 5% estimated travel across North America during ERP implementation. About the role You drive data conversion for a major ERP rollout, own mapping logic, and fix issues with business stakeholders. Compensation: $120,000 to $130,000 per year What you'll do Design repeatable extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading processes for enterprise data. Orchestrate diverse load patterns including scheduled transfers, API interactions, and middleware exchanges across ERP systems and connected platforms. Profile source data, run reconciliation checks, and remove duplication to ensure migration accuracy. Construct load files and prepare datasets for mock cycles, implementation windows, and cutover rehearsals. Resolve load exceptions, clean records with business SMEs, and support stabilization after go-live. Document mappings, transformation logic, validation rules, procedures, and standards for future use. Partner with ERP analysts, business SMEs, and application teams to clarify rules and dependencies. Champion data quality metrics, track issues, monitor trends, and drive remediation across North America. Requirements Bring 7 or more years in ERP data conversion, ETL, or related BI and Data Warehouse roles. Show 5 or more years with large scale ERP such as Dynamics SL, IFS, INFOR, or Dynamics 365. Prove strong SQL skills on SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases. Hands on ETL tools, pipelines, batch loads, and near-real-time data movement is required.
