What you'll do

• Independently direct the full project lifecycle for architectural metal installations, ensuring strict adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Establish project strategy by defining scope, goals, and deliverables for complex metal wall panel and roofing systems.
• Act as the central communication hub, aligning departments and engaging directly with customers to manage relationships and drive project outcomes.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, coordinating manpower schedules, material logistics, and equipment allocation to ensure timely delivery.
• Set up and manage project contracts, budgets, and cost controls, administering RFIs, change orders, and contract documentation with meticulous record-keeping.
• Ensure all work complies with architectural specifications, building codes, and the company's rigorous safety protocols.
• Develop and monitor quality control documents, including shop drawings and submittals, to validate design intent and execution.
• Manage production reporting and deliver weekly updates to field supervision, providing clear insights into progress and potential issues.
• Maximize profitability through vigilant oversight of labor and material deployment in collaboration with field operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and external consultants, fostering collaboration and trust to achieve project success.
• Leverage MS Project and the MS Office Suite to schedule, document, and report on project status with precision.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience as a Project Manager in the architectural sheet metal or building envelope sectors.
• Hands-on experience with metal wall panels, architectural metal systems, and metal roofing installations is mandatory.
• Hold a four-year degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or business; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Mastery of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Project, for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation is required.
• Superior organizational and communication skills are essential for managing diverse stakeholders and project demands.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities to handle complex project variables.
• Expertise in negotiation and contract management to safeguard company interests and client satisfaction.
• The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings with precision to ensure accurate execution.
• A demonstrated history of leadership in managing teams and driving projects to successful completion.
