About the role
You will act as the primary strategic partner for a portfolio of national clients, owning the end-to-end management of key accounts to ensure satisfaction and growth. In this capacity, you will generate new business opportunities by actively prospecting, networking, and leveraging referrals across multiple regions to drive top-line revenue. You will serve as the main liaison between Flynn and its national accounts, ensuring service delivery meets the highest standards of quality and responsiveness. The role requires you to develop and execute comprehensive account strategies that align with both client objectives and company goals. You will represent the Flynn brand at industry events, using these platforms to strengthen relationships and uncover untapped business potential. Collaboration will be central to your success, as you work hand-in-hand with local service teams and the National Business Development unit to coordinate seamless execution. Finally, you will promote the company's services and brand identity through targeted marketing initiatives and social media channels to enhance visibility and thought leadership.

What you'll do
Conduct in-depth analysis of national account portfolios to identify growth opportunities and actionable insights for strategic development.
Generate new business pipelines by initiating contact with prospective clients through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach campaigns.
Serve as the primary point of contact for national accounts, managing all communications to ensure a consistently high level of satisfaction.
Develop and deliver compelling presentations and service demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of national customers.
Formulate and implement account-specific strategies designed to improve retention, increase share of wallet, and foster long-term loyalty.
Actively participate in industry associations, trade shows, and networking functions to build relationships and identify emerging business opportunities.
Collaborate with local Service teams to ensure operational excellence and timely resolution of client issues across all regions.
Coordinate closely with the National Business Development team to align sales initiatives and support cross-functional objectives.
Travel to client sites, prospect locations, and branch offices as necessary to maintain strong relationships and close deals in person.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, to create professional proposals, reports, and presentations that support the sales process.
Promote the Flynn brand through active engagement in marketing programs and social media channels to amplify market presence.
Attend client meetings and industry events to gather market intelligence and position Flynn as a trusted partner in the building envelope sector.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by qualifying leads, forecasting revenue, and updating CRM systems with accuracy.
Support the launch of new services or products by educating clients on benefits and securing early adoption across national accounts.
Requirements
You must be fully bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, as this is a non-negotiable requirement for the role.
You must possess a minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, with a proven track record in business development or account management.
You must have previous sales experience within the construction, roofing, or property management industry to understand the sector-specific nuances.
You must demonstrate a proven ability to build strong relationships and develop new business opportunities in competitive environments.
You must have strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills to articulate value propositions and close complex deals.
You must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, to prepare high-quality materials for client interactions.
You must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
You must have the ability and willingness to travel as required to meet clients, prospects, and branch locations across various regions.
Nice to have
Previous experience in sales within the construction, roofing, or property management industry is preferred.
