About the role
The Procurement Specialist for Supplier Services at Fictiv will be responsible for managing the entire order process, from initiation to delivery, ensuring that supplier interactions are handled efficiently and accurately. This role involves coordinating with multiple teams to streamline procurement workflows, resolve issues promptly, and improve overall operational performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a key role in supporting Fictiv's supply chain operations by maintaining effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and contributing to continuous process improvements.

What you'll do
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of procurement orders, from creation to delivery, ensuring all steps are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Act as the primary liaison between suppliers, Customer Service, and warehouse teams, facilitating clear and effective communication to resolve any issues that arise during the order process.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to order processing times, supplier responsiveness, and delivery accuracy, identifying trends and recommending actionable improvements.
- Manage workflows across various systems, including ERP platforms and supplier portals, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and proper documentation throughout procurement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service to handle special requests, urgent orders, or custom requirements, providing timely updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Exercise independent judgment to prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Identify operational bottlenecks or recurring issues and work proactively with relevant teams to implement automation solutions or process enhancements.
- Support the onboarding of new suppliers and maintain ongoing supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
- Assist in resolving supplier disputes or discrepancies, working collaboratively to find mutually beneficial solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including order status, supplier communications, and performance data, to support reporting and continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for workflow improvements, cost savings, and process efficiencies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals of the Supplier Services team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience working in procurement, supply chain, or order processing roles, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and address issues proactively, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Experience with procurement software and tools, such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with supply chain optimization techniques and inventory management strategies.
- Exposure to working in a global supply chain environment or with international suppliers.
