You will manage high-mix, low-volume projects from initial customer requirements through final delivery, ensuring seamless execution across the entire production lifecycle. You will bridge the gap between U.S.-based customers and global manufacturing partners to maintain alignment on specifications, timelines, and budgets. In this role, you will drive process improvements by identifying bottlenecks and implementing data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and quality. You will own the technical communication strategy, translating complex engineering requirements into actionable plans for cross-functional teams. You will proactively solve production issues by coordinating with engineering and operations to resolve risks before they impact delivery. You will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining transparency and trust throughout every project phase. Your work will directly influence the reliability of the manufacturing operations and the satisfaction of Fortune 500 customers building cutting-edge products.

What you'll do
Coordinate end-to-end project execution for custom mechanical parts, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables with rigorous attention to detail.
Leverage deep expertise in CNC machining to validate processes, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure manufacturability of complex designs.
Partner with engineering and production teams to implement 3D printing, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication solutions that meet customer specifications.
Apply a data-driven approach to monitor production metrics, identify deviations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing workflow.
Communicate technical requirements and updates clearly to multicultural stakeholders, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and factory output.
Perform quality control checks and root cause analysis to resolve issues swiftly, minimizing delays and maintaining high standards of product integrity.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, fostering collaboration across U.S. and India-based teams.
Use project management tools to track progress, manage risks, and document decisions, creating transparency across the entire supply chain.
Anticipate potential disruptions in the production schedule and propose contingency plans to keep projects on track and within budget.
Champion process standardization and documentation to support scalability and repeatability across manufacturing operations.
Support the growth of Fictiv's India operations by contributing to a culture of innovation, learning, and operational excellence.
Engage with new and existing customers to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable project plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met for all manufacturing activities.
Act as a technical leader in the absence of formal direction, demonstrating ownership and initiative in complex, fast-paced environments.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, with a strong foundation in manufacturing principles and practices.
Bring a minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in engineering, operations, or project management roles within a manufacturing context.
Possess hands-on knowledge of CNC machining as a core competency, with the ability to understand tooling, setup, and process optimization.
Demonstrate familiarity with at least one additional manufacturing process such as 3D printing, injection molding, or sheet metal fabrication.
Show mastery of project management fundamentals including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control mechanisms.
Have proven experience solving technical production issues and articulating solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Apply a data-driven mindset to decision-making, using metrics and analysis to guide process improvements and resolve inefficiencies.
Exhibit fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for collaborating in multicultural, global teams.
Embody a self-starter mindset, thriving in ambiguous situations and taking ownership of outcomes without excessive supervision.
Be prepared to work exclusively from the Bengaluru, India office, with full alignment to local working hours and operational expectations.

Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Exposure to building and maintaining supplier relationships or managing a network of manufacturing partners.
Understanding of sustainability practices in manufacturing and experience with eco-friendly materials or processes.
