About the role
Emarketer is on the lookout for a dynamic Sales Enablement Program Director to spearhead the onboarding, training, and coaching efforts for our Subscription Sales team. This role involves collaborating closely with various departments to enhance the buyer journey through well-structured training programs and effective system utilization. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will play a crucial part in driving sales success and ensuring our team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

What you'll do
- Lead the establishment and management of a comprehensive sales enablement program aimed at driving revenue growth and improving sales performance.
- Design and implement structured onboarding processes for new sales representatives, ensuring they are well-prepared to succeed from day one.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership to create and deliver training sessions for new product launches and updates in messaging.
- Work alongside sales managers to develop and execute coaching initiatives that focus on effective sales methodologies, conversation strategies, and pipeline development.
- Provide direct training on internal tools, acting as the main point of contact between the sales team and Revenue Operations for any tool-related inquiries.
- Develop and maintain a variety of supporting materials, such as presentation decks, instructional guides, and certification frameworks to facilitate ongoing learning.
- Analyze the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven adjustments to continuously improve the sales enablement strategy.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the sales team, encouraging feedback and collaboration to enhance overall performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales enablement to ensure Emarketer remains competitive and innovative in its approach.
- Organize regular training sessions and workshops to reinforce skills and knowledge across the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales enablement initiatives, providing insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Engage with external vendors and partners to explore new tools and resources that can enhance the sales enablement function.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or similar roles within a go-to-market framework.
- Demonstrated success in building or scaling a sales enablement function in a B2B environment.
- Proven experience in managing onboarding programs and coaching both sales representatives and their managers.
- Exceptional project management capabilities, with the ability to navigate and collaborate across multiple teams and departments.
- Must possess authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Candidates must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to the New York City office.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with sales methodologies, particularly MEDDPICC, to enhance training effectiveness.
- A background in instructional design or principles of adult learning theory to create engaging training materials.
- Experience with learning management systems, such as Litmos, to streamline training processes and track progress.

- Knowledgeable in SalesLoft for sales engagement and outreach.
- Familiar with 6sense for account-based marketing and insights.
- Experience with UserGems for tracking referrals and connections.

- Proficient in Clay for managing sales workflows and processes.
- Familiar with EWA for employee wellness and engagement initiatives.
Practical notes
- The base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $150,000, with additional On-Target Earnings potential.
- Benefits package includes unlimited paid time off (PTO), 10 paid holidays, 16 weeks of parental leave, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
