About the role
You will lead the execution and delivery of large, complex client engagements within Chartis Oncology Solutions, guiding the strategic direction and problem-solving process for transformative cancer care initiatives. You will advance the firm's thought leadership by developing distinctive insights and new service offerings that define industry best practices and set market expectations. In this role, you will build and maintain trust-based relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and investors, drawing upon deep clinical program knowledge to surface critical issues and co-create actionable solutions. You will embody people leadership by mentoring consulting colleagues, fostering collaboration across practices, and cultivating a culture that attracts mission-driven talent committed to improving healthcare outcomes. What you'll do
Lead the delivery of client engagements within Chartis' Oncology Solutions practice, directing the activities of the engagement team and overseeing analysis and deliverables.
Advance the firm's thought leadership through the development of distinctive insights and innovative service offerings that address evolving market needs.
Build and maintain trust-based relationships with existing and prospective clients, facilitating discussions that surface issues both within and beyond specific consulting scopes.
Cultivate strong internal relationships as a people leader, mentoring consulting colleagues and supporting their professional growth and development.
Foster collaboration across engagement teams, cross practices, and all organizational levels to ensure integrated and cohesive solutions.

Provide strategic direction and leadership for cancer care delivery initiatives, leveraging healthcare knowledge to drive meaningful industry change.

Support the expansion of Chartis' oncology footprint by identifying new business opportunities and reinforcing client partnerships.
Ensure alignment between consulting deliverables, client objectives, and the broader goals of Strategic Transformation at Chartis.
Apply advanced expertise in healthcare strategy, M&A, service line planning, and enterprise growth to address complex client challenges.
Champion the use of analytics and clinical program development to inform decision-making and enhance solution effectiveness.
Engage with healthcare providers, payers, and investors to co-create innovative solutions that reshape the oncology landscape.
Demonstrate superior communication skills by conveying insights that motivate clients to action and support implementation success.
Requirements
At least 12 years of experience working with healthcare providers on strategic initiatives, including enterprise strategic planning, M&A, partnership or joint venture development, service line planning, provider enterprise planning and alignment, growth strategy development, or similar initiatives.
At least 5 years of experience working with healthcare providers on cancer-related strategic initiatives, demonstrating deep familiarity with oncology service lines and delivery models.
At least 5 years managing others, with a proven ability to lead diverse teams and deliver high-impact consulting outcomes.
Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree such as an MBA or MPH is preferred.

Nice to have
Preferred backgrounds in healthcare strategy, oncology services, or transformational consulting within provider environments.
Experience developing and executing service line strategies, growth strategies, and performance improvement initiatives for cancer programs.
Knowledge of healthcare provider financial and operational models, including net margin contributions from key service lines.
Familiarity with Chartis' family of brands, including Chartis, Jarrard, Greeley, and HealthScape Advisors, and their respective commitments to healthcare transformation.
Practical notes
This is a full-time remote role.
Travel may be required based on client needs and engagement scope.
