What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple solar energy projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of project tasks and deliverables.
• Conduct regular project meetings to track progress, address challenges, and communicate updates to all relevant parties.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential risks.
• Foster a culture of safety and sustainability within the project team, promoting best practices in environmental stewardship.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses to ensure financial accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale solar projects from conception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools).
• Knowledge of solar energy technologies and industry trends is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience with budget management and financial forecasting in project settings.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards related to solar energy projects.
• Previous experience in client-facing roles, enhancing customer satisfaction and relationship management.
• Understanding of construction processes and safety regulations within the renewable energy industry.
