What you'll do
You will actively claim diverse assignments across multiple schools and non-profit sites within your designated geographical area, adapting to varying needs and schedules. The role involves supporting students in North Ridgeville Schools, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent educational credential as a baseline qualification. You will utilize the BrightBee platform to manage your workflow and accept shifts that align with your personal availability and lifestyle preferences. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable and patient, capable of maintaining a positive attitude while interacting with young people. Work is conducted during standard school day shifts, typically running from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a structured routine. Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. You must be comfortable with the process of paying for your own background check and educational aide permit, as these are mandatory steps for 1099 independent contractors. You must be willing and able to commute to various school sites located within the West Cleveland area to be considered for assignments. You must agree to undergo a background check, livescan, and potentially other necessary testing or clearances prior to working with students. You must authorize BrightBee to contact your former employers as part of the verification process required for this role. You must acknowledge that costs associated with obtaining clearances, such as background checks and mandated reporter training, are the sole responsibility of the candidate. You must be physically capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods while performing job duties. You must adhere to all safety and reporting guidelines mandated by BrightBee and the school districts.
