What you'll do

Requirements

You must have completed 48 college credits to be eligible for this role.

You must have documented experience working with students with severe disabilities in educational or related service settings.

RBT experience is considered a plus and may strengthen your application for certain assignments.

Bilingual skills in Spanish are required to serve a broader range of students and collaborate effectively with staff.

You must be able to pass a background check before any student facing assignment can begin.

You must comply with all school district and state clearances required for paraprofessional work.

You must follow safety and reporting protocols, including mandated reporter responsibilities at all times.

You must understand that this is an independent contractor role with associated costs for clearance and documentation.

You will choose your schedule through available openings, with options to work 2-5 days per week between Monday and Friday.

Full school day and afterschool shifts are available based on assignment needs and site schedules.

Assignments are coordinated through school partners including Bay Area Community Resource, Delta Prep, and Futuro.

Prior to working with students, you must complete California clearance processes which typically range in cost from $288 to $303.

You will receive guidance through the interview, orientation, and clearance stages before active scheduling begins.

This role is accessible to individuals who are comfortable working independently and following detailed procedural guidance.
