We are looking for a dedicated full-time Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) to join Brave Health's team at our Florida location. This on-site position involves providing outpatient mental health services within a community health-centered organization committed to expanding access to high-quality mental health care. What you'll do

• Provide outpatient mental health services to clients at the Florida office location, supporting their mental health and well-being.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, including identifying needs related to mental health and substance abuse.
• Collaborate with licensed clinicians and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and needs.
• Support clients in achieving their mental health goals through evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including counseling and psychoeducation.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of all client sessions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices.
• Assist in expanding access to mental health services for underserved populations, including those covered by Medicaid and Medicare.
• Engage with clients in person at the Florida location, providing a safe, supportive, and culturally competent environment.
• Support community outreach efforts aimed at reducing mental health stigma and increasing awareness of available services.
• Adhere strictly to organizational policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Contribute to the organization's mission of transforming lives by making mental health care accessible, affordable, and life-changing for all.
• Support the organization's efforts to improve community health outcomes through direct client work and community engagement activities.
• Work closely with supervisors and senior clinicians to receive feedback, supervision, and mentorship throughout your internship.
• Engage in continuous learning about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community health initiatives relevant to the organization's mission.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to client intake, scheduling, and documentation as needed to support smooth clinic operations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master's degree program in social work or a related mental health field.
• Valid licensure or registration as a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI).
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States, with no need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to work on-site at the Florida location; this is an on-site role, not remote.
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health and substance abuse diagnosis and treatment approaches.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client cases, documentation, and administrative tasks efficiently.

Practical notes

• This is an on-site role based in Florida; remote or hybrid options are not available.
• The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work required.
• Typical shifts include 10am-7pm and 11am-8pm Eastern, providing flexibility within those hours.
