About the role
We are looking for dedicated full-time Licensed Therapists to join our team and provide outpatient mental health services through our telehealth platform. This role involves delivering compassionate, high-quality mental health care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing technology to increase access and remove barriers to treatment. The position is based in Ohio and requires on-site work at our Ohio office location. As part of our community health-centered organization, you will play a vital role in expanding mental health services to underserved populations, including those covered by Medicaid and Medicare. What you'll do
- Provide outpatient mental health therapy to patients via telehealth, ensuring high standards of care and confidentiality.
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate closely with clients to set achievable goals, monitor progress, and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all clinical sessions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
- Utilize telehealth technology effectively, including video communication platforms and internal communication tools, to facilitate seamless therapy sessions.
- Support patients in managing mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and other behavioral health issues, with a focus on culturally competent care.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and coordinating care to ensure comprehensive support for each patient.
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and enhance clinical skills.
- Engage with community health initiatives to improve outreach, increase awareness of mental health services, and reduce stigma within underserved populations.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing best practices, providing peer support, and participating in organizational meetings and initiatives.
- Support the organization's mission to expand access to mental health care, especially for Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries, by providing accessible and affordable services.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work or a related mental health field.
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Ohio.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States, with no requirement for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to work from a private, HIPAA-compliant home workspace that ensures patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred and will be considered an asset.
- Experience working with mental health diagnoses, substance abuse, or behavioral health issues.
- Comfort and familiarity with telehealth software, video communication tools, and digital documentation platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing equitable, community-centered mental health care.
- Knowledge of treatment planning, assessment, and goal-setting techniques.

- The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts.
- Shift options include 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm, or 11am-8pm EDT, providing flexibility within standard business hours.
- Compensation ranges from $74,000 to $81,000 annually, with the potential to earn up to $100,000 based on performance and additional factors.
