About the role

We are looking for dedicated full-time Licensed Therapists to join our team and provide outpatient mental health services through our telehealth platform. This role is based on-site in Long Island City, New York, and involves delivering compassionate, high-quality mental health care to a diverse patient population. As part of our community-centered organization, you will help expand access to mental health services, ensuring that underserved populations receive the support they need. What you'll do

• Provide outpatient mental health therapy to patients via telehealth platform, ensuring accessible and effective treatment
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand patient needs, diagnoses, and treatment goals
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, adjusting approaches as needed
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of all sessions, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy during all interactions, adhering to HIPAA and other relevant regulations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes
• Engage with patients to support their mental health goals, providing evidence-based interventions and support
• Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and supervision to stay current with best practices
• telehealth technology effectively, including video communication platforms and internal communication tools, to deliver care
• Support community outreach efforts and participate in organizational initiatives aimed at expanding access to mental health services
• Provide culturally competent care, respecting diverse backgrounds and individual needs
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to organizational growth and development
• Support the organization's mission to make mental health care accessible, affordable, and life-changing for all
• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to ensure high standards of care
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements
• Support the organization's efforts to expand services and reach underserved populations, including Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work or a related mental health field
• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; employer sponsorship is not available
• Ability to work from a private, HIPAA-compliant home space that ensures patient confidentiality
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred
• Experience providing mental health services, preferably via telehealth
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
• Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse diagnoses, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions
• Ability to develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs
• Comfort and proficiency with telehealth software, video communication tools, and internal communication platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing caseloads effectively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping
• Commitment to providing culturally competent care and respecting individual differences
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare requirements is a plus
• Experience working in community health or outpatient settings is preferred
• Familiarity with the organization's mission and commitment to expanding access to mental health care

• This is an on-site role based in Long Island City, New York, requiring physical presence at the designated location
• The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts
• The schedule options include 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm, or 11am-8pm EST, providing flexibility within standard business hours
• Compensation includes a competitive base salary, with additional bonuses that can bring total earnings to approximately $100,000 annually for top performers
