Key facts

What you'll do

• Spearhead the entire sourcing process for IT hardware, software as a service (SaaS), cloud solutions, and telecommunications, crafting strategies that prioritize cost efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Draft, assess, and negotiate contracts related to software, hardware, and technology services, which includes licenses, subscriptions, and renewals to ensure favorable terms for the company.
• Employ benchmarking techniques and commercial analysis to scrutinize supplier proposals, providing recommendations for optimal commercial frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with various departments such as IT, Software Engineering, Finance, and Legal to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs and propose cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee the management of requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), supplier evaluations, negotiations, and the ongoing assessment of supplier performance to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Keep a vigilant eye on technology markets, pricing trends, and emerging vendors to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovative solutions that can benefit the organization.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure that service levels are consistently met or exceeded.
• Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform sourcing decisions and enhance the company's competitive edge.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market insights for senior management.
• Implement best practices in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the supply chain.
• Drive initiatives aimed at sustainability and ethical sourcing, aligning procurement strategies with the company's values and mission.

Requirements

• Previous experience in procurement, sourcing, technology, finance, consulting, or operations is highly desirable.
