What you'll do

• Collaborate with the Developer Relations team to understand the needs and challenges faced by developers using our platforms.
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation, tutorials, and guides that help developers effectively utilize our tools and services.
• Participate in community engagement activities, including forums, social media, and developer meetups, to foster a vibrant developer community.
• Help organize and coordinate events such as hackathons, webinars, and workshops to promote our products and gather feedback from developers.
• Conduct research on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform our developer outreach strategies.
• Support the development of marketing materials aimed at attracting new developers to our platforms.
• Work closely with product teams to relay developer feedback and suggest improvements based on user experiences.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that developers may encounter while using our products.
• Engage with developers through various communication channels to answer questions and provide support.
• Monitor and report on community engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to developer relations and community building.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for enhancing developer engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and programming languages, such as JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, and SDKs, and a keen interest in learning more about them.
• Experience with community engagement or customer support is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a developer relations or technical support role.
• Knowledge of gaming development and familiarity with gaming engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Experience with content creation, including writing blogs, creating video tutorials, or developing presentations.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
• Experience with community management tools and platforms (e.g., Discord, Slack, GitHub).
• Strong analytical skills to assess community engagement metrics and feedback.

Practical notes

• This internship is based in Schiphol-Rijk, Noord-Holland, and will require a commitment of approximately 20-40 hours per week.
• The internship duration is flexible, with a preference for candidates who can commit for at least six months.
• The salary for this internship will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
