What you'll do

• Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, identifying any discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring systems to track project performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to analyze operational data, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess operational conditions and ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on operational performance for senior management, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for growth.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on operational procedures and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of operational activities.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, adjusting approaches as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Assist in the development of operational budgets and resource allocation plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, integrating relevant innovations into operational practices.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations monitoring, project management, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with project management software and operational monitoring tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the construction or engineering sectors, particularly in project monitoring and compliance.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards relevant to operations in East Kalimantan.
• Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Bahasa Indonesia, to facilitate communication with local teams and stakeholders.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or operations management.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools to enhance reporting and presentation of operational metrics.
