What you'll do

• Lead and manage the lubricant testing department, ensuring that all testing activities align with company objectives and industry standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing protocols and methodologies to assess the performance and quality of lubricants.
• Oversee the analysis of test results, providing insights and recommendations to improve product formulations and performance.
• Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on lubricant formulations based on testing outcomes.

Requirements

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is essential.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in lubricant testing or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of lubricant formulations, testing methodologies, and industry standards.
• Proven experience in managing teams and driving performance improvements.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance practices.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software relevant to lubricant testing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced testing techniques, such as tribology or rheology.
