About the role
Bamboohr is seeking a Group Quality Manager to oversee quality standards and operational processes across the entire organization. This role is based in Liverpool, Merseyside and involves leading quality initiatives that directly support the company's strategic objectives and long-term growth ambitions. The Group Quality Manager will work closely with various departments and site teams to ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and maintain the delivery of high-quality outcomes across all business units and functions. What you'll do
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive group-wide quality management strategies and frameworks that align with business objectives
- Coordinate and oversee quality audits and formal assessments across all sites and business units within the Bamboohr organization on a regular schedule
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and methodologies to systematically enhance product and service quality standards over time
- Manage, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of quality professionals and coordinators distributed across the organization
- Ensure full compliance with relevant industry regulations, recognized standards, and internal quality policies at every level
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align quality objectives with broader business strategy and operational priorities
- Investigate quality non-conformances thoroughly and lead the design and execution of corrective and preventive action processes
- Oversee the preparation, review, and maintenance of quality documentation, detailed reports, and key performance metrics
- Establish and monitor meaningful key performance indicators to measure and track quality outcomes across all group sites
- Facilitate targeted training programs and awareness campaigns to build quality capability and embed quality culture among all staff
- Review and update quality policies and procedures to ensure they remain current and reflective of best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in a quality management leadership role within a multi-site or group environment with demonstrable success
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and relevant regulatory standards applicable to the industry sector
- Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate quality teams toward achieving strategic and operational goals
- Experience in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence programs with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret complex data sets and drive evidence-based quality decisions
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience in a quality-focused role
- Track record of managing quality projects from initial conception through to successful delivery and sustained implementation
Nice to have
- Experience working within a regulated industry such as manufacturing, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals is highly regarded by Bamboohr
- Familiarity with international quality standards and certification requirements including ISO frameworks and other recognized bodies
- Knowledge of digital quality management tools and data analytics platforms to support informed decision-making and reporting
- Previous exposure to supplier quality management and vendor assessment processes across a complex supply chain environment

- Proficiency in quality management system software and digital record-keeping platforms for efficient documentation and tracking
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory and compliance documentation accurately across multiple sites and teams
- Strong skills in root cause analysis and corrective action planning using structured and recognized methodologies
- Experience with statistical process control and quality data analysis methods to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Competence in managing cross-functional teams and navigating matrixed organizational structures with multiple reporting lines
- Familiarity with audit methodologies and both internal and external quality assessment procedures and best practices
