What you'll do

• Conduct thorough inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings, including any discrepancies or defects.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure adherence to established quality control procedures.
• Utilize various inspection tools and equipment to assess product quality, including calipers, gauges, and visual inspection techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in quality control or inspection preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and inspection techniques.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, with a solid grasp of measurement principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or non-conformities in products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey inspection results and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to quality assurance and inspection processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a quality control department.
