About the role

The Senior Product Manager for Platform Services owns the end-to-end strategy and execution for Addepar's sandbox, demo, and training ecosystem. This role owns the product vision for isolated testing environments that mirror production complexity while balancing security and cost constraints. You will prioritize initiatives across infrastructure, shared services, and application data to serve a diverse base of developers, designers, and sales specialists. The role directly impacts developer experience and efficiency, acting as a critical bridge between platform capabilities and commercial adoption. You will design frictionless onboarding flows and self-serve tooling to accelerate product-led revenue streams. Success in this role requires close collaboration with R&D, sales, and client teams to ensure feature parity and workflow realism. You will own metrics related to adoption, satisfaction, and operational efficiency for the entire sandbox portfolio. This position offers high visibility into product usage and platform scalability across a global customer base.

What you'll do

Lead the prioritization of Platform Services initiatives across sandbox, demo, and training environments while aligning cross-functional stakeholders on a unified roadmap.

Execute the Platform Services product roadmap focused on developer and end customer adoption, satisfaction, and time-to-value.

Design isolated testing environments that incorporate realistic test data, simulated workflows, and full feature parity with production systems.

Balance sandbox capabilities against security, cost, and resource management constraints to maintain sustainable operations.

Create frictionless onboarding experiences through clear documentation, test credentials, and quick-start workflows for new users.

Build self-serve capabilities including API testing tools, CLI interfaces, and interactive debugging dashboards to reduce support burden.

Define usage limits, geographic restrictions, and environment refresh policies to optimize platform reliability and compliance.

Partner with sales specialists to configure demo sandboxes that accelerate enterprise sales cycles and showcase product value.

Collaborate with data and infrastructure teams to ensure test data realism, performance, and scalability under varied load conditions.

Own end-to-end metrics for sandbox adoption, retention, error rates, and cost efficiency to drive continuous product improvement.

Champion product-led growth strategies by enabling developers and R&D teams to experience Addepar capabilities directly within sandboxes.

Coordinate with platform and infrastructure teams to resolve environment-specific issues and streamline incident response processes.

Maintain documentation and knowledge base content that empowers users to troubleshoot common sandbox issues independently.

Evaluate new tools and frameworks for sandbox automation, aiming to reduce manual overhead and improve environment reliability.

Act as the primary product voice for sandbox services in cross-functional discussions, translating customer needs into actionable requirements.

Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future visa sponsorship, such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar employment-based visas.

Must be authorized to begin work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Must possess the right to work in the US for any employer without restriction.

Must hold authorization to accept employment in the United States under the conditions stipulated by the United States Department of Labor.

Must comply with all US federal, state, and local laws related to employment eligibility and work authorization.

Must be able to demonstrate proof of work authorization at the time of hire and before commencing any work activities.

Must not require sponsorship for any employment visa category now or in the future.

Must be located in or be able to relocate to New York, NY, or be authorized to work in the location from which they are applying.

Experience managing products in developer platforms, infrastructure services, or sandbox environments.

Background in financial services, data platforms, or regulated industries.

Familiarity with Addepar's product suite and prior collaboration with investment professionals.

The listed compensation range applies to candidates in Colorado, California, and New York.
