About the role
Addepar is seeking a Lead, Portfolio Data Analyst to join the Portfolio Data Feeds team in Poland, where the hire will serve as both a hands on analyst and a product manager driving the team towards its strategic goals. In this capacity, the successful candidate will supervise a group of analysts, mentor them on technical and professional skills, and ensure that the team's output meets the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, product management, and data operations to integrate external financial data providers into Addepar's ecosystem and to turn raw information into actionable intelligence. The hire will be responsible for developing and maintaining the processes and metrics that measure quality and performance within the team. They will translate business requirements into technical specifications for data transformation and work directly with clients and partners to understand how data feeds support real world investment workflows. Ultimately, this position will help define and execute the data strategy that enables Addepar's platform to deliver trusted portfolio insights at scale.

What you'll do
Lead a team of Portfolio Data Analysts in Poland while simultaneously performing hands on analysis and product management duties.
Develop, implement, and refine process controls and metrics to ensure that all data feeds meet strict quality, accuracy, and organizational standards.
Manage the full lifecycle of analysts on the team, including onboarding, mentorship, performance feedback, and career development opportunities.
Align team objectives with Addepar's broader business and cultural goals, holding both yourself and team members accountable for execution and results.
Collaborate with a wide range of external financial data providers to design, test, and support the integration of their portfolio data into the Addepar platform.
Translate deep knowledge of existing data models into clear technical requirements that guide the transformation of raw data into usable platform content.
Analyze and onboard new content from diverse sources, ensuring smooth ingestion and accurate mapping within Addepar's data integration ecosystem.
Partner closely with engineering, product management, and data operations teams to deliver data solutions that are timely, reliable, and of the highest quality.
Champion Addepar's products and client use cases, feeding insights back to internal stakeholders in order to identify and drive new opportunities that enhance the client experience.
Continuously monitor the performance of data feeds and workflows, identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
Act as the primary point of contact for cross functional initiatives related to portfolio data, facilitating communication and alignment across teams.
Support the creation of documentation and standards that enable the team to scale its operations without sacrificing accuracy or transparency.
Contribute to the design of data quality tests and validation procedures that protect client decision making processes.
Promote a culture of learning and development within the team by sharing knowledge, best practices, and emerging trends in portfolio analytics.
Requirements
Substantial experience in data analysis and product management with relevant finance domain specific experience that demonstrates an understanding of investment workflows and data structures.
Experience in leading teams, managing cross functional projects, and participating in learning and development initiatives with a proven ability to plan, design, and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously.
A track record of effective problem solving abilities, self motivation to take on responsibility, and a strong team player mentality that thrives in collaborative environments.
The ability to work cross functionally to define functional and technical implementations for solving complex business problems, including understanding dependencies and constraints across systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate requirements, expectations, and feedback to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
A high level of ownership and accountability for delivering results, with the resilience to manage competing priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting complex data sets to support decision making and stakeholder discussions.
Commitment to maintaining data integrity and quality standards across all stages of the data lifecycle, from ingestion through transformation and delivery.
Willingness to partner with global teams across different time zones and cultural contexts to achieve shared objectives.
