Essential Qualifications
Candidates must hold legal authorization to work in Poland starting on their first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Individuals must thrive in ambiguous environments that span multiple systems. Comfort with exploring unfamiliar codebases and debugging intricate distributed services is necessary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, especially when explaining complex tradeoffs. Professionals must bring proven backend engineering experience, building server-side applications over time. Proficiency in Java is required, using object-oriented patterns to structure clean solutions. Comfort with Linux terminals is essential for navigating environments and scripting workflows.
Practical experience with CI/CD, monitoring, logging, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code is required. Candidates must design and consume REST APIs, understanding HTTP semantics and integration patterns.
