The Role
The organization is seeking a versatile Talent Sourcer to integrate with its global recruiting team. The primary focus involves driving hiring initiatives across a diverse range of functions for the EMEA region. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to identify and engage top-tier talent. The role emphasizes the development of a high-quality, diverse candidate pipeline for current openings. Success requires agility, as the position demands fluid movement between departments including Go-To-Market, Services, Research & Development, and General & Administrative functions based on evolving business demands.
Key responsibilities include market mapping and the creation of talent pipelines. You will execute data-driven outreach strategies designed to engage passive candidates within a competitive EMEA landscape. The position operates as a strategic partnership with hiring stakeholders to deeply understand specific role requirements and nuances.
What You'll Do
Your daily activities will center on strategic talent identification and engagement. You will construct detailed market maps that reveal passive talent clusters relevant to every open position. This involves championing outreach efforts through platforms such as Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter. Your messaging will be highly tailored, aiming to communicate a compelling value proposition and the specific challenges of each role.
You will conduct initial phone screens to assess professional competency, relevant experience, and cultural alignment. Maintaining data integrity within Greenhouse is a critical duty, requiring adherence to internal processes and regional regulations, including GDPR. You will coordinate closely with recruiters and scheduling teams to ensure a premium candidate experience from first contact through the interview process. Staying informed on EMEA industry trends and talent acquisition best practices will allow you to share actionable recommendations with the wider recruiting team. Finally, you will build and maintain flexible talent pipelines capable of adapting to shifting regional business priorities.
Who You Are
Success in this role requires specific attributes and experience. You possess a documented history of sourcing talent across various EMEA regions and talent hubs. You understand the distinct nuances of different candidate markets and how to navigate diverse, multi-country candidate pools effectively.
You bring several years of experience to the table, ideally blending both internal and agency recruiting practice. A deep understanding of the technology, professional services, and corporate function markets is essential. You must have a firm grasp of how employment laws apply in relevant EMEA locations.
You are highly organized, with excellent skills in managing multiple competing priorities under tight deadlines. Creative problem-solving is a core strength, particularly when identifying hard-to-find profiles in competitive markets. Data-driven decision-making guides your approach to sourcing and refining overall strategies.
Compensation and Location
This position is based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. The role is classified as full-time and offers a competitive annual salary of £60,000. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience to the role.
