What you'll do
- Lead the product development lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define product specifications and prioritize features based on customer feedback and market demands.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and timelines for product releases.
- Work closely with marketing to create effective go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and promotional activities.
- Analyze product performance metrics post-launch to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on product vision and execution plans.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from users and stakeholders to inform future product iterations and enhancements.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring that tasks are prioritized effectively to maximize value delivery.
- Create and present product updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders, communicating progress and challenges.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive and relevant.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or a related role, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about product direction and market positioning.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Nice to have
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry, particularly with telematics or fleet management solutions.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles and practices.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques, such as Google Analytics or Tableau.
- Previous experience working with remote teams or in a hybrid work environment.
- Understanding of software development processes and technologies, including familiarity with APIs and cloud services.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with product management software, such as Aha!, Productboard, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and their integration with product management.
- Familiarity with web and mobile application development processes and best practices.

- This position is based in London, Ontario, and may require occasional travel for meetings or conferences.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and may need to provide documentation for work authorization.
