What you'll do

• Spearhead the design strategy for complex, multi-team product initiatives, pinpointing critical opportunities and steering teams toward effective solutions.
• Partner with product management, engineering, data analytics, and leadership to define strategic directions, influence product roadmaps, and maintain alignment in uncertain situations.
• Design and manage cohesive, end-to-end user experiences across various systems, ensuring consistency and scalability in both marketplace and provider products.
• Create and enhance design systems, frameworks, and patterns that facilitate high-quality, scalable solutions across different teams.
• Improve product quality through direct design contributions, constructive critiques, and mentorship, linking execution to a broader strategic vision.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and executing significant product design work in complex, multi-team settings, demonstrating strong product judgment and the ability to influence strategic direction effectively.
• Exceptional design capabilities, creativity, and an eye for aesthetics, consistently delivering high-quality work that enhances both product functionality and brand identity.
• Strong systems thinking skills, with a background in designing user journeys and creating scalable frameworks that unify experiences across a multi-faceted ecosystem.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and leadership teams, promoting clarity and direction in uncertain environments.
• A balanced approach to project execution, with a history of successful product launches and effective team leadership.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams and utilizing emerging AI tools and workflows to maximize product impact.
• A strong track record of elevating design standards through mentorship and leadership initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.

• This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for flexibility between remote and in-office work.

• The base salary for this role ranges from $170,000 to $260,000 USD, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
