What you'll do
- Lead the scoping of projects by gathering and defining detailed requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
- Analyze client workflows and business objectives to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Identify and document use cases and existing technical infrastructures to establish a clear baseline for solution design.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analyses to compare current applications with detailed customer requirements and business needs.
- Collaborate with solution architects and developers to formulate strategic solution recommendations and technical approaches.
- Draft and maintain extensive project documentation, including functional specifications, requirement changes, and traceability matrices.
- Act as a subject matter expert during project execution, providing clear guidance and support to development and QA teams.
- Identify potential project risks early and support quality assurance processes to mitigate issues before deployment.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively while providing strategic guidance to client success and delivery teams.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding and agreement.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies that can enhance the client's marketing technology stack and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing sessions and gather feedback to refine solutions prior to final rollout.
- Translate complex technical concepts and constraints into language that non-technical stakeholders can readily understand.
- Ensure all project deliverables adhere to Zeta Global's standards for quality, documentation, and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software implementation, covering the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to user acceptance testing.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field or equivalent practical experience in software implementation.
- Proven ability to create, manage, and maintain project documentation such as business requirements documents and technical specifications.
- Strong consultative skills enabling the analysis of client needs and the recommendation of appropriate solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse audiences at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for professional documentation and presentation.
- Demonstrated experience with web services and RESTful APIs to understand integration points and data flows.
- Ability to represent end-user needs and translate them into functional requirements for the development team.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex business problems and devise effective solutions.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, requirements tracing, and solution validation.
- Willingness to adapt to changing project scopes and stakeholder priorities while maintaining professionalism.

- Experience in CRM, CDP, email, and database marketing concepts to better understand client marketing ecosystems.
Practical notes
- This is a full-time position based in California, United States.
- The compensation range for this role is between $150,000 and $160,000, determined by experience and specific location within the state.
