Senior Product Manager
Job description
About the role
This Senior Product Manager operates at the core of the Identity product team within Zeta Global. The role owns the definition and execution of the identity and data infrastructure roadmap that powers the marketing cloud. You will decide which capabilities are built and when, balancing user needs with business objectives and technical constraints. Product work here happens at the intersection of massive scale data, privacy regulations, and real-time decisioning. You will gather insights from customer behavior and translate them into clear product requirements for engineering and design. Success in this position is measured by the outcomes your shipped teams deliver against strategic business goals. You will be a key decision-maker in how identity resolution and data infrastructure evolve to serve marketers.

Ensure proposed solutions comply with privacy regulations and privacy-first identity strategies such as GDPR and GPP.
Translate technical constraints and system design details into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
Prioritize features for identity graphs, cross-device linking, audience resolution, and programmatic advertising infrastructure.
Maintain a deep understanding of the product domain to guide strategic decisions and long-term planning for the identity product.
Represent the product perspective in discussions involving architecture, data quality, and platform scalability.
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure successful execution and adoption of product releases.
Requirements
6+ years of experience in product management with meaningful exposure to data platforms, identity systems, or ad tech infrastructure.
Strong technical depth with comfort reading SQL queries and architecture documents, enabling credible engagement with engineers on system design.
Proven experience driving cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams or business units while influencing without direct authority.
Clear, structured communication skills to translate between technical and business audiences and align stakeholders with different priorities.

Experience working with large-scale data sets and understanding how data quality impacts product decisions.
Nice to have
Experience in ad tech, MarTech, or identity resolution, including identity graphs, cross-device linking, audience resolution, or programmatic advertising infrastructure.
Familiarity with privacy-first identity strategies such as cookieless resolution, first-party data approaches, or privacy regulations like GDPR and GPP.
SQL fluency for exploring large-scale datasets to investigate product questions, validate hypotheses, and define metrics.
Experience with agile development practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Practical notes
Zeta provides excellent medical coverage as a core benefit.
The role requires occasional evening availability to coordinate with US time zones.
Typical interview steps
Product interviews often include a product sense round, an analytical round, and a behavioral round. Candidates may be asked to design a feature, prioritize a backlog, or estimate a metric. Some loops include a case exercise. Strong candidates show structured thinking and customer empathy. Interviewers want to see how you prioritize when everything matters. Walking through your decision criteria out loud is a strong habit in product interviews.
Good to know
Identity and data infrastructure underpin product decisions across the organization.
The role relies on analytical thinking to measure match rates, resolution quality, and coverage.
Cross-team collaboration is central, with frequent coordination across engineering pods and business units.
Comfort with SQL, data platforms, and distributed systems is valuable for interpreting infrastructure constraints.
Flexible scheduling supports collaboration across regions, especially with US-based teams.
Questions to ask
Good questions to ask the employer in the interview: what does success look like in the first six months, how is the team structured, what is the current biggest challenge, and how are decisions made. Asking about growth paths and the review process is also well received. Employers expect questions, and good ones show preparation.
Career growth
Product careers usually move from associate to product manager, then to senior, group, or director levels. Some people specialize in growth, platform, or enterprise products. Others move into general management. Success depends on shipped outcomes rather than shipped output. Product careers often reward generalists early and specialists later. Experience shipping measurable outcomes is the strongest signal for promotion.
