You will own the end-to-end sales cycle for strategic enterprise clients, navigating complex buying committees to secure long-term partnerships that drive transformative AI adoption. This role demands that you act as a trusted advisor, guiding global organizations through their AI journey with data-led insights and consultative rigor. You will be responsible for building and maintaining executive-level relationships that span procurement, legal, IT, and business stakeholders. Your success will be measured by your ability to convert strategic opportunities into scalable, multi-year contracts that advance both client and company objectives. You will leverage deep product expertise to de-risk purchasing decisions and accelerate deployment timelines for WRITER's AI agent platform. This position requires a high degree of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. What you'll do
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through close, managing complex deals with 8-18 month sales cycles and navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees across procurement, legal, IT, and business units.
- Drive net-new revenue by identifying, qualifying, and developing strategic opportunities within target verticals and named account lists, consistently building a pipeline that exceeds coverage targets.
- Engage C-level executives and senior decision-makers in consultative discovery to understand their business priorities, uncover transformational use cases, and position WRITER as the strategic platform to achieve their AI vision.
- Partner cross-functionally with solutions engineering, product, and customer success teams to architect tailored solutions, run successful pilots, and ensure deployments that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Lead complex negotiations involving multi-year contracts, custom pricing structures, and enterprise terms, while maintaining deal momentum and driving consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Become a trusted product expert who educates prospects on how to set up and WRITER's AI agent platform, going hands-on during critical evaluation phases to demonstrate value and accelerate time-to-deployment.
- Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy, consistently delivering predictable revenue results while providing leadership with transparent visibility into deal progression and risk factors.
- Conduct in-depth competitive displacement analysis, articulating the unique value of WRITER's enterprise-grade platform against incumbent solutions and alternative vendors.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key named accounts, aligning cross-functional resources to penetrate within accounts and expand footprint over time.
- Champion customer-centricity throughout the sales process, ensuring that every interaction reinforces WRITER's commitment to trust, security, and measurable transformation.
- Utilize data and insights to prioritize high-impact activities, optimize sales behaviors, and refine messaging based on feedback from implementation and customer success teams.
- Represent WRITER at industry conferences, executive briefings, and prospect meetings, reinforcing the brand's position as a leader in enterprise generative AI.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of quota-carrying strategic SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas in complex, value-based sales motions targeting Fortune 500 and Global 2000 accounts.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing sophisticated enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, navigating procurement processes, and orchestrating cross-functional resources to drive deals through technical evaluations and executive approvals.
- Executive presence and communication skills that allow you to credibly engage with C-suite buyers (CIOs, CDOs, CTOs, COOs), translate complex technical concepts into business value, and build authentic relationships based on trust and strategic insight.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to conduct discovery that uncovers underlying business challenges, connects AI capabilities to measurable outcomes, and creates urgency around transformation initiatives.
- Experience in outbound prospecting, account mapping, and territory planning, with a hunter mentality that drives you to consistently create new opportunities rather than waiting for inbound leads.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for ownership - you thrive in fast-paced environments and take responsibility for seeing complex initiatives through to completion.
- A track record of selling category-defining technology solutions that require executive sponsorship and multi-year commitment from enterprise buyers.
- Willingness to travel in compliance with company policy, including occasional visits to the London hub and customer sites as required.
