What you'll do
Drive net-new revenue by managing the full sales cycle for WRITER's enterprise AI agent platform, from initial outreach to executive commitment.
Prospect and qualify strategic opportunities within target verticals, using data and insight to identify high-impact use cases for WRITER's platform.
Partner cross-functionally with solutions architects and delivery leads to refine value propositions and co-create tailored solutions that resonate with client priorities.
Guide executive-level discussions and negotiations, positioning WRITER as a strategic partner aligned with long-term business objectives and digital transformation roadmaps.
Own your book of business with strong accountability, driving outcomes through disciplined pipeline management and a bias for long-term impact.
Collaborate closely with product and customer success teams to ensure smooth deployments, adoption tracking, and ongoing value realization for enterprise clients.
Consistently input accurate pipeline data into CRM systems to forecast and report sales progress, enabling leadership to make informed strategic decisions.
Develop deep expertise in WRITER's platform, becoming a trusted resource who educates stakeholders on configuration options and best practices for unlocking value.
Support customer advocacy initiatives by identifying expansion opportunities and referenceable success stories within existing strategic relationships.
Maintain compliance with WRITER's sales methodologies, governance policies, and documentation standards to ensure quality and consistency across all engagements.
Act as an enterprise-scale advisor, helping clients define measurable outcomes and map WRITER's capabilities to their most pressing operational challenges.
Requirements
Bring 5-8+ years of quota-carrying strategic SaaS sales experience, demonstrating success in high-growth environments and complex value-based sales motions.
Maintain a proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas, with consistent performance across multiple quarters and fiscal years.
Show advanced skills in outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and executive stakeholder management across diverse organizational cultures.
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to connect across functions and listen actively to diverse perspectives and concerns.
Comfortably operate with ambiguity, taking ownership of outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that demands adaptability.
Demonstrate strong executive-level presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into compelling, concise narratives.
Adhere to WRITER's employment eligibility requirements, confirming identity and authorization to work in the United States without current sponsorship for this role.
Confirm eligibility to reside and be employed in the United States, with no restrictions related to citizenship, work authorization, or immigration status that would prevent full-time employment in Chicago.
Understand that this position requires in-office presence within one of WRITER's designated hub cities, aligning with hybrid work expectations and team collaboration needs.
