About the role
You will join WRITER's sales team as a Strategic Account Executive and play a central role in shaping the future of work within large enterprises. In this position, you will own the full sales cycle for WRITER's enterprise AI agent platform, focusing on driving net-new revenue and enabling organizations to deploy AI at scale. You will partner cross-functionally with product and customer success teams to co-create tailored solutions that align with client business goals and ensure smooth deployments. You will build lasting relationships with both clients and internal teammates while maintaining a high degree of accountability for your book of business and its long-term growth trajectory.
What you'll do
- Drive net-new revenue by managing the full sales cycle for WRITER's enterprise AI agent platform with a focus on strategic enterprise opportunities.
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new strategic opportunities within target verticals and target account lists using data-driven prioritization.
- Partner cross-functionally to refine value propositions and co-create tailored solutions that address specific client challenges and priorities.
- Guide executive-level discussions and negotiations, ensuring every engagement aligns with customer business goals and long-term vision.
- Own your book of business with a bias for long-term impact, accountability, and consistent pipeline generation.
- Collaborate closely with product and customer success teams to ensure smooth deployments, adoption, and ongoing value realization.
- Consistently input accurate pipeline data to forecast and report sales progress to leadership with transparency and precision.
- Become a trusted product expert who educates users on how to set up WRITER to unlock value and optimize outcomes, going hands-on when needed.
- Leverage consultative selling and outbound prospecting techniques to uncover latent needs and expand relationships within strategic accounts.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships that position WRITER as a strategic partner in the enterprise AI transformation journey.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of quota-carrying strategic SaaS sales experience, ideally within high-growth or complex value-based sales motions.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas and consistently delivering strong performance in competitive environments.
- Demonstrated skill in outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and managing executive stakeholder conversations.
- Strong communication abilities that enable you to connect across functions, listen actively to diverse perspectives, and articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proven ability to own outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative, and rapidly evolving environment.
- Exceptional executive-level presentation skills that convey confidence, credibility, and strategic thinking.
- Experience working with enterprise customers and aligning solutions to large-scale operational goals.
- A commitment to ethical sales practices and building trust-based, long-term client relationships.
Nice to have
- Experience selling AI, enterprise software, or platform-based solutions to large organizations.
- Background in industries such as enterprise tech, financial services, or other highly regulated sectors.
- Familiarity with deployment models for enterprise AI, including considerations around security, compliance, and data governance.
- Understanding of how cross-functional teams operate during digital transformation initiatives.

Practical notes
This role can be based remotely anywhere in the US, with opportunities for hybrid work at our office hubs in San Francisco, New York City, Austin, Chicago, or London. You will report to a regional vice president.
