You will own the full lifecycle of integrated production projects, guiding ambitious concepts from initial spark to polished delivery across every channel. You will act as the operational backbone for the creative team, translating strategic direction into concrete production plans and timelines. In this position, you will build deep partnerships with Creative, Strategy, Account, and Business Affairs to align production capabilities with business objectives. You will manage external production vendors and internal stakeholders with equal parts professionalism and diplomacy to maintain a cohesive workflow. You will proactively identify and solve complex production challenges before they impact the schedule or budget. You will ensure that every project meets the highest creative standard while remaining on time and on budget. You will champion a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the production function. What you'll do
Orchestrate end to end production workflows for video, broadcast, social, experiential, branded content, and emerging platforms from initial brief to final delivery.
Partner with Creative and Strategy to shape realistic production scopes, ensuring ambitious ideas are translated into feasible and impactful plans.
Develop detailed production schedules, manage timelines, and track milestones to guarantee on time delivery across all project phases.
Own budget management and vendor negotiations, securing competitive rates while maintaining strong relationships with external production partners.
Lead the assembly and direction of cross functional production teams, coordinating roles, responsibilities, and handoffs for seamless execution.
Implement robust risk management processes, identifying potential roadblocks and deploying contingency plans to protect project integrity.
Oversee the procurement and allocation of production resources, including equipment, locations, talent, and crew, to support project needs.
Maintain rigorous quality control standards, ensuring all deliverables meet brand guidelines and the studio's best in class benchmarks.
Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, facilitating clear communication and alignment on objectives.
Drive process improvements by documenting production workflows and introducing tools that increase efficiency and team collaboration.
Analyze production metrics and outcomes, using insights to refine future planning and elevate the overall quality of work.
Champion a sustainable and inclusive production environment, fostering a culture of respect, psychological safety, and shared ownership.
Act as a strategic thought partner to Account and Business Affairs, anticipating needs and aligning production capabilities with commercial demands.
Mentor junior producers, providing guidance, feedback, and leadership that strengthens the entire production organization.
Requirements
You possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a foundational knowledge of production management or a related field.
You have a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in production roles, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
You are fluent in end to end production processes, including concept development, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, and final delivery.
You have substantial experience working with video, broadcast, social, experiential, branded content, and emerging platforms across both digital and traditional mediums.
You have a strong history of building and maintaining relationships with external production vendors and partners.
You bring at least eight years of experience collaborating directly with Creative, Strategy, and Account teams in an agency or integrated studio environment.
You have demonstrable experience managing budgets of significant scale, negotiating contracts, and controlling costs without compromising creative quality.
You exhibit a track record of solving multifaceted production challenges while adhering to strict deadlines and brand standards.
Nice to have
You have experience working within a hybrid office model, balancing remote collaboration with in office presence.
You have familiarity with emerging platforms and production techniques that push the boundaries of traditional advertising.
You have a background in mentoring or leading junior staff, contributing to professional growth within a production team.
You have knowledge of business affairs, including contract structures, usage rights, and clearance processes relevant to advertising production.
Practical notes
This role is based in the New York City office and follows a hybrid schedule, with required in office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
The position requires availability for occasional travel to support production activities and partner meetings as needed.
