About the role
We're looking for a passionate Tax Intern to join our team and help fuel our global impact. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in fiscal and tax operations at one of the world's leading mobile game developers. You'll support critical tax compliance activities, sharpen your technical expertise, and collaborate with our team to keep our operations running smoothly. What you'll own
- Invoice Receiving. </strong>Own end-to-end invoice receiving workflow, which includes partnering with the business (requesters), Procurement, Accounting, and Tax to validate documents against purchase orders, validate accounting rules, and determine taxes applicable to each transaction
- Support Tax Compliance Routines. </strong>Support your direct leader in accounting closing routines and less complex tax compliance activities, such as reconciliation, tax returns and other reports delivered to tax authorities and audit, and tax assessments
- Support ERP Governance.</strong> Oversee and maintain ERP master data by accurately registering, updating, and inactivating vendors, clients, items, taxes, and purchase categories. Also, collaborate with Finance IT to build automations and improve the invoice receiving workflow.

Who you are
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree from the 2nd or 3rd semester onwards in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields;</li>
- Proven Excel expertise and preferably domain of basic formulas, pivot tables, and conditional analysis to facilitate daily activities;</li>
- Intermediate level of reading and written English as they'll need to read invoices and documents.</li>
- Ability to work in SAP S/4HANA
- Familiarity with tax and accounting concepts and routines.<br>

What You'll Do
- Drive the end-to-end invoice receiving process by collaborating with requesters, Procurement, Accounting, and Tax to validate purchase orders and documentation.

- Support less complex tax compliance activities as part of accounting closing routines and routine deliverables.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation for all tax-related activities and assessments.
- Act as a liaison between business units and tax specialists to resolve invoice and compliance queries.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying gaps and suggesting enhancements to workflows.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Monitor deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet operational timelines.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for internal audits and external reviews.
- Apply analytical skills to investigate discrepancies and reconcile data.
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by your direct leader.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from the 2nd or 3rd semester onwards in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in Excel, with familiarity in basic formulas, pivot tables, and conditional analysis.
- Possess intermediate reading and written English skills to handle invoices and business documents.
- Show agility in learning new concepts and resilience when facing challenging situations.
- Communicate clearly and succinctly across various contexts and audiences.
