What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement within the organization.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance training is effectively delivered and understood by all employees.
• Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, advising management on necessary adjustments to policies and practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors during compliance examinations and inquiries.
• Investigate compliance breaches or concerns, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board, highlighting key compliance metrics and areas of concern.
• Assist in the development and execution of compliance risk assessments, ensuring that all potential risks are adequately identified and mitigated.
• Support the onboarding process for new clients and partners, ensuring compliance with due diligence requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, including training sessions, audits, and investigations.
• Foster a culture of ethical behavior and compliance throughout the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of compliance issues.
• Participate in industry forums and networking events to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance frameworks, including MiFID II, AIFMD, and AML legislation.
• Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey compliance concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in compliance monitoring tools and software is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or similar are highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience in a compliance role within a multinational organization.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and methodologies.
• Knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR.
• Previous experience in conducting compliance training sessions.
• Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
