What you'll do

• Collaborate with clients to assess their compliance requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet regulatory standards.
• Conduct thorough compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern and recommend actionable strategies for improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest regulatory changes and industry trends to provide informed guidance to clients.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive compliance reports and presentations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in communication.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory expectations.
• Provide training and support to clients' staff on compliance-related topics, fostering a culture of compliance within their organizations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, and risk management, to ensure a holistic approach to compliance.
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Utilize compliance technology tools to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of compliance operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on compliance matters.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations, to support the growth of the Compliance Solutions practice.
• Contribute to internal initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and operational efficiency within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) is a plus.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the financial services or investment management sectors.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including SEC, FINRA, and other relevant regulations.
• Proven experience in conducting compliance audits and risk assessments, with a track record of identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in compliance software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Nice to have

• Experience working with compliance technology solutions, such as GRC platforms or automated compliance tools.
• Familiarity with international compliance regulations and standards, particularly in relation to cross-border transactions.
• Previous experience in a consulting role, providing compliance advisory services to clients.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and their implications for compliance practices.
