About the role
Bamboohr is seeking a dedicated Associate to join our Corporate Secretarial Services team in Dublin. What you'll do
- Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory documents with regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Support the management of corporate records, including maintaining registers of shareholders, directors, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for compliance purposes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Prepare board meeting agendas, minutes, and resolutions, facilitating effective communication and documentation of corporate decisions.
- Conduct research on corporate governance best practices and regulatory changes, providing insights to clients and internal teams.
- Assist in the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of their corporate governance needs.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including legal advisors and regulatory bodies, to ensure all corporate matters are handled efficiently.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and systems related to corporate secretarial functions.
- Provide training and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Monitor and report on compliance deadlines, ensuring that all filings and submissions are completed on time.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, showcasing our services and addressing any queries related to corporate governance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in legislation that may impact our clients, proactively advising them on necessary actions.
Requirements
- A degree in law, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in corporate secretarial services or a similar role within a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and compliance requirements in Ireland.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and filings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, with experience in corporate governance software being an advantage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
Nice to have
- Experience working with international clients or in a multinational corporate environment.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse client bases.
- Professional certification in corporate governance or related fields (e.g., ICSA) would be beneficial.
