About the role

You own the end to end execution of fire protection and life safety projects from initial coordination through final closeout. You serve as the primary on site leader for sprinkler and integrated systems ensuring that every phase aligns with company standards and client expectations. You safeguard project profitability by rigorously monitoring budgets schedules and compliance requirements. You drive seamless collaboration between sales design and installation teams to maintain consistent project momentum. You enforce the highest levels of safety and quality control across all job sites under your responsibility. You act as the central communication hub for all project related documentation approvals and updates. You champion continuous improvement by applying best practices and lessons learned to future engagements.

What you'll do

Coordinate closely with estimators and designers to collect the data required for producing sprinkler system drawings hydraulic calculations seismic brace calculations and material or equipment schedules.

Submit stock lists for projects to fabrication teams and approve fabrication quotes while ordering any additional materials needed for project installation.

Schedule project tasks in logical sequences to meet budget and time deadlines for subcontractors and ensure timely progress.

Review construction contract documents and work with sub contractors and General Contractors to gather all necessary information for each project.

Obtain or determine the project schedule and communicate all pertinent deadlines including design start listing and POJ dates to the VSC team.

Manage project communication and documentation by preparing issuing and following up on ASIs RFIs change orders subcontracts and purchase orders while actively monitoring the budget to increase profit.

Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures on every job site.

Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.

Exercise exceptional attention to detail and communication skills while consistently meeting demanding project deadlines.

Requirements

You must bring three to five years of experience in project management within sprinkler or integrated systems environments.

You must ensure strict compliance with all company local state and federal regulations including but not limited to fire NFPA building and safety requirements.

You must reliably schedule projects in logical steps to meet budget and time deadlines for subcontractors.

You must work closely with sales and design personnel to clarify project specifications manpower needs and change orders as they arise.

You must review construction contract documents and coordinate with sub contractors and General Contractors to collect the required information for each project.

You must obtain or determine project schedules and convey all critical deadlines such as design start listing and POJ dates to the VSC team.

You must handle project communication and documentation including preparing issuing and following up on ASIs RFIs change orders subcontracts and purchase orders while monitoring budget to increase profit.

You must monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures on all job sites without exception.

You must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.

You must pass various background checks as part of the hiring process.

You must possess reliable transportation and hold a valid State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.

Nice to have

Ability to use AutoCAD or SprinkCAD is listed as desirable but not required.

This role is based in Springfield Virginia and requires on site presence at job locations across the Southeast. You must have reliable transportation and a valid State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record to operate company vehicles. The compensation range is listed as excellent pay between seventy five thousand and one hundred twenty five thousand dollars based on experience.
