About the role
You manage the end to end performance of fire sprinkler projects for commercial and industrial clients in the Greenville South Carolina market. You interpret drawings and specifications, translate requirements into safe and efficient field execution, and coordinate crews and subcontractors to meet contractual and regulatory standards. You apply risk assessments to site conditions, drive root cause analysis for incidents, and close the loop through corrective actions that improve processes and system reliability.

What you'll do
- Lead the planning and scheduling of fire sprinkler installation and retrofits, sequencing activities to align with project milestones and site constraints.
- Translate construction documents and specifications into detailed work plans, confirming compliance with design intent and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain workflow, manage resource allocation, and resolve logistical conflicts.
- Conduct risk assessments for each project site, identifying hazards, evaluating controls, and implementing measures to protect personnel and property.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality issues, delays, and safety incidents, defining corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Close the loop on project performance by tracking outcomes, verifying corrective actions, and documenting lessons learned for future engagements.
- Partner with engineering, procurement, and site stakeholders to align on scope changes, material availability, and schedule adjustments.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely issue resolution.
- Oversee adherence to safety protocols, confirming that all required Personal Protective Equipment is available and used correctly.
- Support continuous improvement by evaluating tools, methods, and workflows, and recommending enhancements to operations and training pathways.
Requirements
- You must hold or pursue NICET certification, with the company providing reimbursement for the certification test.
- You must have the ability to obtain and maintain all required licenses, permits, and credentials for fire sprinkler work in the applicable jurisdictions.
- You must comply with all applicable life safety and fire protection codes, standards, and regulations during project execution.
- You must pass pre employment screening, which may include background checks and drug testing where required.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States and present documentation verifying identity and employment eligibility.
- You must be able to perform the essential functions of this role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including extended periods of walking, standing, and site visits.
- You must lift and carry tools and equipment safely, and use personal protective equipment as directed for tasks on site.
- You must read, write, and communicate effectively in English to coordinate with teams, interpret documents, and report status.
- You must be willing to participate in after hours or emergency response as needed to protect life and property.
