About the role
About the role Verkada puts design at the core of everything it builds. As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape web and mobile experiences for an AI-powered physical security platform used by over 30,000 customers, including more than 100 Fortune 500 companies. You will partner with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to define product direction and refine every detail before release. Key facts

Engagement: Full-time Estimated annual pay range: $150,000 to $200,000 USD What you'll do
Partner with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving agile setting, moving quickly from concept to prototype
Lead brainstorming sessions that bring together engineering, product, and design perspectives
Shape product strategy around user needs and company goals
Create deliverables spanning rough wireframes through polished, pixel-level UI
Guide junior designers with actionable feedback and help raise overall design quality
Co-own project outcomes alongside engineering leads
Juggle several projects at once while managing scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
Conduct or participate in user research when projects call for it Requirements
Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or an equivalent field - 5+ years of product design or mobile product design experience
Track record of turning complex problems into clear, elegant solutions
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product, engineering, and design peers on creative challenges
Experience producing animated visuals and interactive design elements
Proficiency in Figma Skills & tools

Wireframing and high-fidelity UI design
Interaction design and animation
