We are on the lookout for a skilled product manager who will take charge of the strategy and execution of our internal business systems, with a particular emphasis on People operations and extensive IT infrastructure.

What you'll do
- Work closely with the leadership team in FLOPS to tackle operational hurdles, focusing on enhancing People systems, data pipelines, and IT security projects.
- Create and implement process enhancements, system configurations, and tailored improvements to boost overall organizational efficiency.
- Collaborate with FLOPS engineers to design and execute technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Facilitate cross-departmental meetings to collect and clarify functional requirements, addressing any conflicting needs to ensure progress.
- Document existing workflows and pinpoint gaps or issues to enhance internal business tools.
- Propose standards for system upkeep and development to guarantee long-term scalability and effectiveness.
- Develop lightweight technical solutions using programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Analyze data to inform decision-making and improve operational processes.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation within the business systems.
- Provide training and support to team members on new systems and processes to ensure smooth adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align business objectives with technology solutions.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to showcase progress and outcomes of initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related technical or analytical discipline.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design tools and flowcharting software, such as Figma or Lucidchart.
- Experience in managing integrations between enterprise systems, including Workday, Salesforce, Netsuite, third-party logistics providers, and expense management platforms.
- A solid understanding of the complete employee lifecycle and its implications for business operations.
- Ability to commute to the San Mateo office five days a week.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.
Nice to have
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment, particularly in the tech or security sectors.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in product management frameworks.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques to present insights effectively.
- Previous experience in a role that required cross-functional team collaboration.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to data security and privacy.
