What you'll do

• Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and strategy, translating high-level goals into actionable plans.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product innovation.
• Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility.
• Create detailed product specifications and user stories to guide the development team in building high-quality solutions.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across all products.
• Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback post-launch, making data-driven decisions to inform future iterations.
• Facilitate communication between engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
• Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Vendasta and stay updated on market trends and best practices.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and gather insights for product enhancements.
• Advocate for the customer within the organization, ensuring their voice is heard in product decisions and strategy.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products throughout their lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies, with a solid understanding of Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
• A degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in the digital marketing or local business services industry.
• Knowledge of user experience design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar.
• Previous experience in a leadership role or managing cross-functional teams.
