What you'll do
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of sales and customer success teams, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and job aids that enhance learning outcomes.
- Conduct regular assessments and feedback sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make necessary adjustments to improve content and delivery methods.
- Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring they have a solid understanding of Vendasta's products, services, and company culture from day one.
- Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training solutions that address specific challenges.
- Organize and lead workshops and training sessions that promote best practices in sales and customer success, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that training content remains relevant and impactful.
- Act as a point of contact for team members seeking guidance and support in their professional development, providing coaching and mentorship as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align training initiatives with promotional campaigns and product launches, ensuring that all teams are informed and prepared.
- Assist in the development of a knowledge base or resource center that provides ongoing support and information for team members.
- Participate in cross-functional projects that aim to enhance overall operational efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the enablement program by gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders, ensuring that the program evolves with the needs of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a training or enablement role, preferably within a technology or SaaS company.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an engaging and understandable manner.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs that drive measurable results.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and build relationships across various departments.
Nice to have
- Experience in sales or customer success roles, providing firsthand insight into the challenges faced by these teams.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.
- Certification in training or facilitation methodologies is a plus.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques to evaluate training impact.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
Practical notes
- This position is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and requires the ability to work full-time hours.
- Candidates must possess valid work authorization in India to be considered for this role.
- The Enablement Associate will report directly to the Enablement Manager and work closely with various teams across the organization.
