What you'll do

• Analyze and optimize existing operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, ensuring that Vendasta remains competitive in the market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices across the organization.
• Develop and maintain operational metrics and dashboards to track performance and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
• Assist in the development and execution of operational strategies that align with Vendasta's overall business goals.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure that all operational needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Support the onboarding and training of new employees, ensuring they understand operational procedures and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits of operational processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on operational initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with operational processes, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, summarizing operational performance and recommending improvements.
• Participate in project management activities, ensuring that operational considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies that could enhance Vendasta's operational capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations or process improvement role, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing operational improvements that lead to increased efficiency and cost savings.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with operational metrics and performance measurement systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM systems or other business management software.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Skills & tools
