What you'll do

Interpret business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for SAP Commerce Cloud implementations.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) platform technologies in a collaborative Agile environment.

Extend the SAP Commerce data models and leverage the flexible extension framework to support evolving business needs without compromising integrity.

Implement and manage complex data transformations using Impex scripts and optimize queries in FlexibleSearch to ensure efficient data handling.

Configure and customize the SAP Commerce Backoffice and WCMS (SmartEdit) to enable efficient content management and streamlined operations.

Develop and integrate B2B and B2C Accelerator solutions to accelerate project delivery and leverage proven SAP Commerce frameworks.

Build robust frontend implementations using Spartacus (Angular) or traditional SAP Commerce frontend technologies such as JSP and Tag files.

Integrate the platform with external systems through RESTful APIs, SOAP, OData, and middleware tools like SAP Cloud Integration / CPI.

Optimize SQL queries and database interactions across relational databases including SAP HANA, MySQL, and Oracle to enhance application performance.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, code reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.

Write and maintain high-quality unit tests and support test automation to ensure code reliability and reduce regression risks.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide L3 support to resolve incidents efficiently and minimize system downtime.

Refactor legacy code and improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability of the SAP Commerce Cloud solutions.

Document technical designs, implementation details, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.

Contribute to architectural discussions and propose innovative solutions that align with industry best practices and digital commerce trends.

Requirements

The posting states a bachelor's degree requirement. 4-6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development and implementation is required for this role.

Strong proficiency in Java (J2EE), Spring Framework, Hibernate, and object-oriented design is required for effective development.
