Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives of Valocity Global.
• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding for new hires.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions that attract top talent.
• Design and execute employee training and development programs to enhance skills and promote career growth within the organization.
• Oversee performance management processes, including setting performance metrics, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback to employees.
• Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives and addressing any workplace concerns or conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
• Manage employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
• Develop and maintain HR metrics and reports to track progress and inform decision-making.
• Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a more equitable workplace for all employees.
• Collaborate with external partners, such as recruitment agencies and training providers, to enhance HR capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a strong understanding of various sourcing techniques.
• Excellent knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical context.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in HR software and tools, with the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in employee engagement and performance management strategies.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a technology or startup environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and other HR-related software tools.
• Knowledge of compensation benchmarking and benefits administration.
• Experience in developing and implementing training programs.
• Understanding of diversity and inclusion best practices within the workplace.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software applications.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting HR metrics and making data-driven decisions.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
