What you'll do

• Lead the development and execution of data quality frameworks and policies to ensure high standards of data integrity across all platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions to resolve them effectively.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure data quality and report findings to senior management regularly.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of data quality processes, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data quality processes, including data definitions, data lineage, and data quality metrics.
• Provide training and support to team members on best practices for data management and quality assurance.
• data profiling tools to analyze data sets and identify anomalies or discrepancies that may impact business decisions.
• Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data collection and storage methods, ensuring optimal data quality from the outset.
• Foster a culture of data quality awareness within the organization, promoting the importance of accurate data across all levels.
• Manage relationships with external data providers and vendors, ensuring that data received meets our quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data quality management, incorporating best practices into our processes.
• Prepare and present reports on data quality initiatives and outcomes to stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for further development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, data quality, or a related role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices in data quality management.
• Proficiency in data quality tools and software, such as Informatica, Talend, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in leading projects and managing teams, with a focus on achieving results.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards, such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
• Previous experience in the financial services or real estate sectors.
• Certification in data management or quality assurance, such as CDMP or Six Sigma.
